UMG Online brings competitive gamers together

Competitive gaming or esports is a fast growing industry and one that I am happy to be apart of. With thousands and even sometimes millions of dollars to be made, competitive gamers need to get the best practice possible at all levels and not all games give access to in game ranked modes like League of Legends or Halo.  UMG online is one of two large competitive gaming platforms made that lets competitors play against other aspiring pro players and even some of the professional players.  Making an account is very simple and this account will give you access to a variety of ladders separated by platform and game.  Each ladder allows players to challenge other members and set up matches. UMG allows players to schedule matches for a specific time or accept challenges from other users.  Once the match is set up, the user receives an email and can view the match on the website. This match page contains all the rules, match time and a reporting system to send results after the winner has been decided. There is also a proof system that will allow users to submit proof of a victory in case the opponent is not graceful in defeat.  The top players after each season (a few months) will be invited to the playoffs to compete online for a cash prize. If players do not feel like waiting that long. UMG offers online tournaments to prime or subscribing members. So players can compete for cash prizes every day across a variety of titles.

I've been aware of this website for a few years now and I have worked closely with competing platform GameBattles.  When it comes to setting up a competitive gaming match for fun or practice, the website offers a very easy to use and understand system that I have used myself.  Coming from the competitive Call of Duty community, people use the website every day when looking to get better as a team. The rules for each match are easy to access and even connecting social media accounts to the website is pretty easy.  One thing I really do like about the platform is that you can see the social media accounts for opponents so if they are running late, contacting them is just a click away.  The website has received complaints about cheaters and the proof system allows that to be taken care of pretty easily.  All of the administrators are able to look over reported scores and match proof to keep competitive integrity intact.  In some extreme cases, referees are able to spectate matches as well just so there is an unbiased party able to report the correct score.  I really like what the website is able to do for the community I am apart of because there is no formal ranking system inside of the game for competitive players.  This system allows players to see how good they are compared to others, find new teammates and advance up the ranks and players that do not have a full team can even compete against other teams of one, two or three. There is something for every gamer on UMG Online and hopefully the website continues to grow and help the community as a whole.
