Hungry? Order Your Way on Social Media: How Restaurants are Using Social Media Today.

Social Media has become a big part of most everybody’s life. A lot of businesses are beginning to realize just how much more of their potential customers they can reach my making their organization more accessible online. Two of the restaurants that have started doing this successfully are Subway and Domino's.

Image result for social media in restaurantsThe first one I will go over is Subway, they have been trying to update their spread to reach more people, in order to do that they have been using Facebook, Google+, and Twitter to let people know when there are sales going on.They just recently started using Instagram and Snapchat, in this way, Subway can be not just on every corner but all over social media sites as well. Now Subway has an app that  allows you to order online so that it makes it easier to get your food right when you want it without the long wait. You can also sign up for text alerts to let you know about what Subway is doing next.
It sends you coupons to your phone when there is a special going on,  when there is something new and anytime it knows you are close to a subway.

Domino’s is also using  Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram as well as Pinterest and Tumblr to reach out to more potential customers. They were the first out of the two to really start looking at reaching a bigger audience. Domino's makes it easy to order from anywhere - anyware you are. You can call, go online, text, tweet and even go through your TV to get what you want.

I think it s a great idea that businesses are using a wide variety of social media to expand their horizons while trying to reach their whole clientele.
