For my blog I wanted to find some apps that would be an
asset to the business. While I found
many great apps for business and personal use, I want to just mention a couple
that really caught my attention.
In life and business, we come across many different business
cards for different people and businesses.
While some may be OCD compulsive enough to be able to keep up with them
all & have it near when you need them, most people are typically not that
organized. It usually goes something
like this… “Here’s my card, call me if
you ever need anything!” Card goes into your pocket, purse, or wallet and sits
there. If you’re somewhat organized you
might get around to adding it to your contacts, or maybe add it to the rest of
the cards.
Well now there’s a great new app
that lightens the paper trail of business cards and keeps them all in one
organized location. It’s called Cam Card, the business card app loved by
100 million customers. With Cam Card, you can easily scan, manage,
sync, and exchange business cards. Just scan any paper cards you get using the
app & your devices camera, this app can accurately read 16 languages,
exchange e-cards quickly between users, manage your contacts by adding notes,
setting reminders, quickly search, tag, and share. Get notified when your contacts info changes
companies or promotes to new positions. Access anywhere on any device, sync
between devices to keep a full list always available. You can also create a personal profile to
make yourself better known to your colleagues or follow your contacts companies
to get the latest news. I can’t wait to
download this app and empty my bag of business cards! You can find more about it here https://www.camcard.com
Another great app I found for
business use is called Word Lens/Google Translate. For anyone who travels abroad or comes up
against foreign language text. This app can change the language in real time
without the use of the internet. Quickly
change from English to Spanish, French, Italian, German, Portuguese, Russian
and any language back to English. You can watch the video showing how it works
here https://youtu.be/h2OfQdYrHRs
For personal use I recommend
checking out these other great life apps:
Carrot – A to-do list app that
makes getting things done a game.
Everest – An app to help achieve
life goals
Money Tracker – An app to keep
track of all incoming and outgoing expenses.
Versus – An app that allows you to
easily compare items you’re considering for purchase.
